News & Press ReleasesGE Steam Turbines for Alaoji undergo final FAT testsApril 2008 - Schenectady, USA Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) have begun on the two 300 megawatt steam turbines manufactured by General Electric Energy Products in Schenectady, USA for Phase 2 of Alaoji Power Plant project. Phase 2 will double the capacity of the existing Alaoji power plant by converting the existing 504 megawatt Simple Cycle Power Plant to a 1074 megawatt Combined Cycle Power Plant. |
