Community Affairs Policy

The main objective is to ensure better relationships with host community by employing efficient communication with both the host communities and the authorities, reducing and eliminating disruptions during the Project execution. The major challenge is to complete the project with minimal disruption to work from the host community. Rockson Engineering Company Ltd efforts will compliment those of the Client. Duplication of community assistance projects will be avoided by consulting with the Client first and then with the community.

The issues that will be considered by Rockson Engineering Company Ltd are as follows:

• Proactive resolutions of disputes and misunderstandings
• Community assistance projects
• Use of local labour
• Problem of land acquisition
• Communicating with host community and authorities
  
• Employment of community liaison officer (CLO)
