To double the capacity of Alaoji Power Station, Rockson Engineering was awarded the engineering, procurement and construction contract to convert the 504MW Simple Cycle Power Plant to 1074MW Combined Cycle Power Plant. The contract was extended to include the construction of ramps and jetties at the Imo River to facilitate heavy equipment crossing the river en route to the project site as the existing bridge has insufficient capacity to carry these heavy loads.
