As part of the National Integrated Power Project, Rockson Engineering is carrying out the engineering, procurement and construction of a 252MW gas turbine power station with 2 x 126MW GE 9EA gas turbines. This power station is completely "stand alone" and separate from the existing Rivers State Government 150MW power plant.

The two stations will be inter-connected at the RVSG 132kV switchyard.
