You will be responsible for implementing financial management strategies towards the achievement of the company’s business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include safeguarding the company’s financial assets and ensuring that projects stay within agreed budget limits. You will also ensure the availability of adequate finance to meet operational requirements, develop improved accounting systems and provide precise and timely information to facilitate accurate projections by management in line with overall business strategy. |
| Minimum Requirement |
You will be degree-qualified (preferably with a relevant post-graduate degree qualification) and aged between 37 and 45 years’. You must have a minimum of twelve years’ post graduation experience, five of which must have been in a management role within a reputable corporate organization. Ideally, you will also have a minimum of five years’ post-ICAN membership industry experience. |

| Function |
You will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive internal control and compliance system for the company. Your key responsibilities will include reviewing, evaluating and enforcing compliance with operational and financial standards within business units and ensuring that departmental heads/managers are committed to the implementation of these established controls. You will be responsible for identifying areas of weak controls and risk within the company’s core business processes and recommending appropriate measures to strengthen and mitigate the risk to management. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company is in full compliance with the relevant statutory requirements. |
| Minimum Requirement |
You will be a degree-qualified chartered accountant (preferably with a relevant post-graduate degree qualification) and aged between 37 and 42 years’. You must have a minimum of ten years’ post graduation experience, five of which must have been in a similar role within a reputable corporate organisation or a large successful audit firm. You must be familiar with computer aided audit procedures and possess sound reporting skills.
Success in the role will require excellent management and organisational skills plus a high level of integrity. |
